Virtual Schoolhouse Title Programs

The Virtual Schoolhouse offers supplemental support through our Title programs. Title I is for children who are not at grade level in mathematics and/or reading, but who have not been diagnosed with a specific learning disability. Title VI is similar in its academic support in mathematics and reading, but is geared toward those students who are on an Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). For these students, the IEP goals-academic, behavioral, social, and organizations skills-are also part of the Title VI program. The Title programs are additional support, and do not replace the child's regular educational program.

The Title programs are designed not only to help close the achievement gap between students, but also to change the culture of America's schools. The goal is for schools to invest in every child so that success is defined in terms of student achievement.

All teachers in the Title programs meet the requirements of the federal government's "No Child Left Behind" law.
